This consultation marks the next step in Government's review of post-16 qualifications in England.

"Like Government reforms at level 3, our proposals are bold. Tinkering around the edges will not be enough if we are to improve our pipeline of skills. The qualifications available for 16 to 19 year olds and adults in future will be different from those available today" - says Alex Burghart MP Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Apprenticeships and Skills
