The UK Construction Industry Task Force brings together professionals, trade bodies, policymakers and residents to drive practical improvement across competence, building safety and industry culture. Convened in 2025 and now entering its next phase of delivery, the Task Force is secretariat-supported by the Institute of Construction Management.

The dedicated UK-CITF platform is temporarily undergoing service-continuity work.

During this period, the Institute of Construction Management, as secretariat to the UK Construction Industry Task Force, is managing interim communications, meeting information and expressions of interest on the Task Force’s behalf.

We appreciate your patience and will share updates here as they become available.

Following its initial programme of sprint-style working meetings, the Task Force is entering a new phase of delivery under renewed executive leadership. This phase is focused on turning early discussion into practical, evidence-led action across the sector — with a continued emphasis on collaboration between construction professionals, trade and sector bodies, policymakers, training providers and residents.

The Institute of Construction Management continues to provide the Task Force secretariat throughout this phase, supporting coordination, communications and participation.
