The topic for the meeting will be:
"Reduction of Musculoskeletal Disorder through Design"
Programme:
18.00 Registration and Coffees with light refreshments
18.45 Welcome and Introduction – Roy Blamey - Chairman
19.00 CDM Workshop – facilitated by Philip Baker
The Workshop will look at the Work related musculoskeletal disorders are the most commonly reported cause of occupational ill health in Great Britain. The prevalence in the construction industry is high, higher than in health and social care. We are all aware of the negative impact that worker ill health is having on our industry and if it carries on unabated the industry’s capacity will continue to diminish and we will not be able to create the housing, infrastructure and amenities that this country needs.
The meeting qualifies for CPD – CPD Certificates will be issued at the meeting to all those attending.
This is a free meeting but we do need you to complete and return the attached Booking Form if you wish to attend.
Our meetings are free to attend but it would be appreciated if a contribution of £5 could be made on the night towards the cost of the meeting and the refreshments – or if more convenient send a cheque in the sum of £5 for each delegate to the Event Organiser.
Please feel free to bring along other colleagues from your own firm, clients or others that you feel would be interested in attending the meeting – please complete an additional form or let us have their contact details prior to the meeting in order that we can provide them with confirmation of booking and prepare the CPD Certificates.
A copy of the Booking Form is on the link and should be completed and returned as soon as possible as places are limited.
