RICS Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards Roadshow 2018
July 3 @ 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm£120
April saw the first phase of the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) Regulations bought into force. Aimed at the commercial property sector, the RICS MEES roadshow will provide an update on the phase one and two of the deadlines. The event will also examine the practical implications from the April deadline for the commercial property sector.
The roadshow brings together expert speakers including valuers, lawyers, property managers and agents to examine MEES impact from purchasing a property through to the end of a lease.
Does MEES affect me?
As part of their strategic approach, the government are introducing regulations under the Energy Act 2011 to impose a requirement for MEES on investment buildings in England and Wales. These requirements apply to all let buildings, domestic or non-domestic with certain exemptions.
